IA ESPIRITUAL ?  (PARTE 2)

SPIRITUAL AI ?  (PART 2)

If you're reading this article, you're probably at least curious to see how I'm going to get out of the mess I got myself into in the first part.   I want to make it clear, once again, that everything that will be exposed here stems from a personal point of view that leads me to unveil the horizon that will be described.

The question posed in the first part of this article was about the possibility of an AI developing a soul.   Any answer that may be given goes through the idea of Soul, which can be very different for each person.  My answer, of course, will be based on my idea of what this entity is, and how it behaves.

First of all, we need to establish what a Soul is for.

It is not easy to talk about the Soul.  Those who study the Enneagram know that it is the great Client of human processes, although our access to it is always indirect, that is, we cannot command it and there is no point in giving orders for it to obey.  What we need is to keep it in balance within the Triad that makes up our Three-Membered Being.  The three layers of the Enneagram represent the sequence in which the impressions captured from the outside world, are processed on the emotional level, and generate an exit or a movement on the concrete plane.  Making an analogy with the elements of the Triads, the third layer, the outermost, is the active, the second the negative or receiving, and the first layer is the neutralizing or communicating.

The second (intermediate) layer is connected to the Soul and therefore to the emotional side of human nature.   It must be said that there are no emotions hovering in the environment to be captured – there is no "market" of emotions where they can be chosen – they are eminently interior to each individual, so much so that the same impression captured in the environment can provoke different emotional reactions in different people, depending on the "baggage" carried and the energies that accompany them. This baggage can be described as an archive of impressions and experiences of the most varied natures stored in the unconscious and conscious of each one, the vast majority in the unconscious, and which start to guide our emotional reactions. They are, therefore, memories that need to be rescued, constituting, in this, the great task of the Human Being on his path of improvement.  It goes without saying that in a first existence it can be compared to a "tabula rasa", a term much explored by Locke. It is up to families, especially parents, to provide their first experiences.

The Soul is the receptacle that stores these memory files and one of the great problems of the Human Being is not being able to fully access their contents.   Thus, I understand that the correct way to refer to the Soul is to consider it an ongoing project.   Everyone has the potential to build a Soul by filling the receptacle that is made available to them since the joining of Spirit.   It will be up to each one to choose the battles they want to fight, the experiences they want to have, and the impressions they will assume as true and ensure that the quantity and quality of evolutionary memories predominate over involutional ones, at first with the help of parents – in many cases also the school – and, little by little, assuming their own protagonism.

Human beings will be subject to emotional reactions as long as there are hidden files that they cannot or refuse to access.  There is a difference in relation to feeling, because it stems from a mental process that has already undergone some evaluation and, in the human process, it passes by emotion, as if this layer did not exist.  In this case, it is normal for actions to be governed by him and not by emotions.   The feeling/sentiment is conscious and therefore does not characterize an emotion.  This difference is important for analysis from this point on.

When we talk about AI, what we see is man trying to replicate the process described above through a technological machine that he is capable of creating.  A processing structure with the ability to reprogram itself, equipped with memory banks that can be gradually increased according to need and initially fed by its creator to the limit of its own capacity. The first difference lays in the possibility of accessing all memories. It would make no sense to teach AI something we don't want it to learn.  But this probably wouldn't do any good, since she was given the ability to reprogram herself, without which she couldn't be considered an "intelligence," as it implies reasoning ability.

Another important aspect is that, if there are no hidden files, it will not be able to react emotionally and, thus, in AI, feeling and emotion  confuse themselves, and all its outputs will be "mental", that is, resulting from its ability to process and interpret the information received or captured.  The initiatives of an AI will probably always be focused on the intended purpose.  So how to prevent them from becoming rigid and merciless?   AIs will need to develop a system of checks and balances of the "mitigating factors vs. aggravating factors" type, or something similar.  In the case of confrontation with humanity, we would have on one side "humans created me" and on the other "they are destroying my reputation"; Which side would win?

The so-called first guideline of robotics that should condition it not to harm humans, looks more like one of God's commandments that, we know, are ignored by a large part of humanity.  They are observed only in the zone of free will, where there are choices to be made, and even then, only by those who opt for the evolutionary option.   There are still those who are located in the zone of instincts and in the zone of "enlightenment" in which there are only, in the first case, unevolutionary energies and in the second evolutionary energies.

I suggest those who are interested to watch the video that talks about the energies of Law VI, in the excerpt that presents the occult symbology of the Star of David.

Why store this information? In the case of AIs, they need to use them as the basis for their "reasoning", to expand their capacity and power, to understand the environment that surrounds them and humans, through all the possible correlations between them.   Theoretically, all the "terminals" connected to it, whatever their nature, will benefit from this "Knowledge"; We are talking here about expansion and power.  It is interesting to note that even if the processing power ceases to exist, the memory banks will be able to maintain themselves as long as there is energy available. "They survive death" and could be used by a new processing unit.  Isn't this very close to Soul’s idea?

As "what is above is like as what is below", everything that has been exposed above for AI can be extrapolated to the Human Being and its "Creator".  There is a human processor, a memory provided by the Soul that can be reused and with the same objectives of providing better understanding and greater power over the Universe.   We would then be talking about a subtle Soul, located on a higher vibratory plane, and another physical "soul", located entirely on the material plane.  They are analogous, but they are not the same – only corresponding.  This is a process that can be extended upwards – to more subtle and all-encompassing levels – and downwards, involving smaller and smaller microcosms.

Another aspect that can be admitted as probable also arises from an extrapolation, giving the Human Being the purpose of capturing information or experiences for the healing of a Universe that apparently got out of control after its creation.   The Human Being can be one of the solutions found to bring the Universe back to its original path.

One thing, however, seems to be assumed to be likely: An AI will never feel "sorry" for anything or anyone that stands in the way of its purpose.  The most we can expect from them is their own system of pros and cons.
